CCC MEMBER UPDATE > AUG 2 

Happy Sunday & Family Day!  The social committee is hosting its annual event at the Club from 10 AM to 2 PM.  Come check it out - lots of fun activities for the kids on and off the golf course.  The course is normal otherwise - bar open all day, kitchen from noon to 6pm.  Turn shack and on course beverage cart service this morning.  Yes, we expect it to be busy.  Yes, there will be a lot of kids and more noise than normal.  Thanks for your understanding in advance :)

CCC CALENDAR THIS WEEK...

Mon (3) - Cloquet Ed Foundation - 12pm shotgun 

Tues (4) - Ladies League (4 to 5:30 PM) 

Wed (5) - Open Golf 

Thurs (6) - Men's League & Member Guest Practice round 

Fri (7) - Member Guest (Course Closed ALL DAY) 

Sat (8) - Member Guest (Course Closed ALL DAY) 

Sun (9) - Open Golf

MEMBER GUEST TOURNAMENT  

Next Friday and Saturday the course will be closed as we host 144 players for our 6th annual event.  It has changed dates to open next Sunday up for member play which is our busiest day.  Members are encouraged to come on up on Saturday Night as we host some live music (outside weather permitting) and host pull tabs.  The tournament will be concluded - so feel free to come check out the social part of it.  Those that are participating we have put the entry fee on your member account to confirm your entry into the tournament.

CCC ADULT CHILD > SAT/SUN AUG 22 & 23

We have closed the Adult Child sign-up right now.  We have over 200 players registered.  We are concerned about the ability to get everyone around the golf course with golf carts.  If you would like more details, please reach out to the GM/Golf Shop for more details.  We want to get as many people involved as possible, but the reality is we are surpassing our capacity.  We almost never host any tournaments over 200 players.

CCC CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP > SAT/SUN AUG 29 & 30 

We are month out on the Club Championship.  We are trying a new date this season.  We will be doing a revamped format for those that aren't in Champ Flight.  We will be doing handicapped/flighted, Stableford scoring system instead of normal, straight match-play.  We will be doing cash payouts and friendly groupings/pairings.

GOLF CLUBS & HEAT

We have had a run on golf club repairs this past couple of weeks.  The extreme heat may be a factor in that.  Be careful leaving your clubs in the trunk or out in the elements as it may become more susceptible to breaks and loosening of club heads, etc.
