CCC MEMBER UPDATES

THAT'S A WRAP! 

Sunday was the last day of golf for 2025.  It was another great season at CCC - thank you for being a part of it!  We had a fairly typical open and close date compared to years previous as we had over 190 days from start to finish.  The weather had its up and downs, we had some wet stretches and then more of some dry spells.   Our round total from 2025 eclipsed 22,000 - which was up slightly from last season (4% increase, 838 rounds).  Overall, a very similar golf season to 2024 - which was also a very solid year!  Our summer months we averaged about 132 rounds a day.  A typical active public course could see over 400 rounds in one day.   We might see a small uptick in rounds, but we have a lot more capacity available.

COURSE MAINTENANCE

The crew is busy putting the golf course to bed for the winter.  We will be starting to spray the winter chemicals today through the next few days.  We are hopeful to complete all of that - and be able to get the covers on the greens to finish off the week.  There are several little projects to complete - it will be a good feeling to know that we have done everything prior to the weather turning.   Thanks to Jud and his crew for an awesome season - they continue to provide one of the best products in the area! 

PROJECTS COMPLETED IN 2025

The Club continues to improve its financial situation while investing into the facility.  It is worth highlighting some of the improvements made in just one season!  The number of things we have been able to accomplish is quite impressive in the last few seasons.  And there is more to come! 

- Men's Clubhouse Bathroom 

- Water Fountain in Clubhouse 

- New Patio furniture 

- Removed existing, damaged pavement from cart paths and added extensions 

- 1st Tee gazebo 

- New electric and gas golf cart fleet 

- On course flowers, stump grinding 

- New tee boxes into play, #17 ladies add.  Re-leveled #13, #5.  

- Course re-rated/new scorecard 

- New turn shack toilets 

- #14 on course stairs
