CCC MEMBER UPDATES

CCC MEMBER UPDATE > JUNE 16

Happy Tuesday!  We got in our outside event yesterday.  The Club generated nearly $10,000 of revenue with almost 100 players participating on a Monday afternoon.  Events continued to be a pivotal revenue source for us.  Today, we have normal golf the majority of the day besides Ladies League who has tee times booked from 4 to 5:30 PM on the Front 9.  We will have the bar open the whole day with kitchen service starting at 2 PM.  We will have on-course beverage service (weather permitting).  Hopefully, the weather holds!

JUNIOR LESSONS

We will let you know the status of those lessons tomorrow either later today or right away in the AM.  We will plan on having them unless there is consistent rain.  We do not have any "make-up" dates scheduled over the 8 weeks.   We are hopeful we can get in before the rain starts in the afternoon.

COUPLES/FRI FUN > FRI JUNE 19TH

Sign up for our couples/Fri fun event coming up this Friday!  Cost if $40/couple - includes golf, cart, food & prizes.  5 pm shotgun.  To get registered > CLICK HERE!

95TH ANNUAL CLOQUET INVITATIONAL

We are approaching the cap on the number of golfers we can accommodate for the tournament.  We have about 25 spots remaining.  For our members, it might not be on our radar yet with it feeling like summer just sort of started here, but there is a good chance we may have to turn away a few people.  So, please get registered for it in the coming days to ensure you get in.  It is always a good event.  It is scheduled for July 9-12 - so just a reminder to those who don't participate, the course will be closed during that stretch to host it.  It is less than 30 days away!!  To register > CLICK HERE!

SUGGESTIONS/REQUESTS/OBSERVATIONS

Please feel free to relay any comments or observations to the GM via email or in passing.  We certainly want to know if there are areas that we are falling short or can improve on.  We would just ask that they would be "trends" and not just a one-off experiences you have.   There are several things that can go wrong on a particular day whether it's on-course drink service, pace of play, member conduct, etc.  We will do our best to address correctable behavior.  Please refrain from "complaints" to our staff - they are doing their best to execute our vision.  We will fall short at times, but they deserve respect and aren't paid to deal with that stuff.  We want to continue to provide a positive environment for our membership and find concrete ways we can improve operations.  If you are passionate about an area of the golf course, there are several committees to get involved with.  They can be extremely valuable as it provides more perspective on the "why" behind why we do what we do.  There are 400 members all with different tastes and opinions, we will do our best to provide as many options as we can.  But just keep in mind, that doesn't always mean we can offer everyone's personal favorites.  We will keep doing our best to service the membership as a whole.  Again, we welcome the feedback through the proper channels and sometimes the delivery matters.  We all know how easy it is to run a golf course from a bar stool! :)  Thanks for your continued support and positivity!

PROJECT UPDATES

The Clubhouse painting is just about complete besides a few finishing touches.  Thanks to Mikey Homan and Howard Lamirande for tackling that project - and saving the Club a ton of money by doing it in-house.  We have started the Golf Shop and hope to have that finished in the coming days (weather permitting).  The parking lot expansion is moving along, and we will be adding some fill to get that prepped for what is next there.  Besides the ongoing cart path edging, we will be heading into a quieter period the next couple of months before we head into the Fall.  Thanks to the membership for their patience in dealing with the disruptions in order to get these projects completed.

Exciting times at the Club!!

Let us know if you have any questions on anything.  Thanks!
